First of all in our family, there's Mama.
Mama won't ever tell us how long she's lived, but I think it must be quite a while. Sometimes she says old-fashioned things, or calls us her brood. She's the prettiest Mama in the whole wide world; she absolutely must be.
Then there is my older sister, Haven, and my older brother, Owen.
Haven takes strongly after Mama. She's very pretty, too, and she'll play with us sometimes, but she never lets us in her room. Which isn't that fair! Just because she's a full vampire, she thinks she can be all bossy.
Owen, on the other hand, always plays Don't Wake the Llama with us, and doesn't care about any of that vampire stuff like Haven does. He's super duper nice, and gives the best hugs.
Then there's my younger sister Anna! We're really close, and she's my best friend. We tell each other everything! She's a bit of a hothead, but we always make up after arguments. Her full name's Antoinette, but she thinks it's too grown up.
Izzy is our baby sister, and Mama spends a lot of time playing with her. She's such a pain - she breaks all my crayons when she gets at them. She might be a bit better when she's a bit older and doesn't have so many tantrums.
I guess I'm the only one left! My name is Ava Faust, and I like drawing, and playing 'Spy' with Anna!
I'm the third oldest and Mama says she wants me to enjoy life. I think that means 'be happy'.
